What is an Adverse Drug Reaction
An adverse drug reaction is “A response to a drug which is noxious and unintended, and which occurs at doses normally used in man for the prophylaxis, diagnosis, or therapy of disease, or for the modifications of physiological function” (World Health Organization)
What to do
If you think you are experiencing an adverse drug reaction, contact your doctor, or another healthcare professional. In some cases you may need to contact the emergency services or go to the nearest emergency unit.
